Lev has moved on from football to hockey. Now, you may be thinking we are focused on having him participate in all the major sports, but you would be mistaken. We are focused on having him participate in activities that prevent him from talking.
The kid will just not stop talking. Since the day we met him he must have expelled about the same number of words that I have spoken in my entire life. You know when you're surfing the net and you accidently open up a video and then an advertisement starts playing in the background; so you have two separate audio tracks competing against each other...he sounds like that sometimes.
So we enrolled him in football and hockey, which both require mouth guards. He is also learning to play the flute in school and it is no accident that we encourage him to learn that while Daniel is learning to play the violin.
At some point, he just has to run out of breath, batteries, or even words. But for now, it's all we can do to keep his mouth either closed or occupied.
