Scared Silly
This Halloween fell on a Sunday night so it was mad dash of trick-or-treating to get home early on a school night.
Our street is too dark and barren for kids to come visit (isn't that what a Halloween street should look like?) so we go across town to a street that decorates their houses like it's Christmas and at the peak hour it looks like a shopping mall the day before Christmas; overfilled with Dad's trying to get stuff for their kids.
Lev kept diving into piles of leaves thinking he was truly hiding from me in his camouflage outfit. He was like a 3-year-old who covers his eyes and taunts, "You can't see me." Little does he know that what he was wearing was his future employment attire.
Although Molloy's costume package read "pumpkin", it looked more like a cross between a French maid's outfit and the so-called gourd.
I'm not exactly sure what Daniel was supposed to be, but to find a costume that had a hood (his favorite fashion accessory) and hid his face at the same time was a major coup for someone as shy as he can sometimes be.
