Forced Busing

School started this week. Lev began 3rd grade and Daniel began 2nd grade. ..let's just say they didn't go willingly. Molloy will be a senior in pre-school this year, but next year she will start kindergarten and get on the bus with the boys. That will be more Rubins on one yellow school bus than even the Partridge Family had.

They each got new backpacks, but Lev oddly opted for a side-shoulder bag. I'm not sure what he was thinking but he lobbied for that option harder than Obama has been lobbying for the "Public Option" health care plan. It just seems like such an odd bag to put a lunch box in, but after one week he still hasn't come home begging to trade it in for being heckled.

Daniel continues to maintain his hooded gangsta look, but it should be noted he fashioned it on his own as he has never even seen MTV or any other such fashion outlet.

There is really no need for Molloy to be in any of the pictures in this post as she does not get on the bus, but damn if she doesn't just look cuter than the boys do. We couldn't exclude that.

That whooshing sound you just heard was not the bus releasing its air breaks; it was Mom letting out a loud joyous sigh knowing she won't have to see them again for about 7 hours.
