Pieces de Resistance

1,034 pieces later, we have a Republic Gunship in the house.

Lev finally went to the bank, completed a withdrawal slip, and withdrew his $120 in cash, plus a little extra for the tax (it's a cruel world, Lev), plunked it down at the cash register of Toys R Us (no wonder kids can't spell these days), and raced home to start assembling. Within a few days, he was finished.

I have to say it is a pretty cool toy; a child psychologist might term it an "interactive toy" (what toy isn't?) because the doors open and close, the gun turrets swivel, and it comes with several characters.

We are very careful to make sure it doesn't shatter like every other one he ever built and my next assigment is to help him build a display case...and with my manufacturing skills that could require another 1,034 pieces of things from my garage.
